"For me, my job and football is always doing the best that you can do, having a common goal, a common purpose, and at the same time supporting people through that process. It is a fine line between grace and accountability."
"Being from Western Washington University, where you go to be a teacher or an engineer, not to become a pro football player is already overcoming alot of odds. I was fortunate for that experience, grateful for it."

Creator/Director + Researcher

I wanted to make this film about a person I have known my whole life. Orlondo's story is interesting and inspiring. I have had a lot of Tiger-Cats merch at home as my Dad is a huge fan of the team. I knew many people in and out of the program were likely fans as well.

The reason I decided to be part of this film is because of Orlondo’s inspiring life story and Sara’s passion and determination to bring his journey to the screen. Hearing Sara’s vision and reading her pitch made me even more curious about Orlondo’s professional career and the perseverance it took for him to get to where he is today. When Sara approached me to be her producer, I couldn’t say no — I was truly honoured to be offered this role in her project.

I live in Hamilton and grew up going to Tiger Cats games with my family! Having these memories and this personal connection makes this doc feel special to me and I’m so happy to be a part of the crew!

Football is such a huge part of my life and I was excited to be apart of a crew that shined a light on how bright and special football can be in someone's life!

Fun fact: I got to watch my flag football team play in the Tiger Cats stadium during our provincial championship (I would have been playing if I wasn't injured). But watching from on the field was a super cool experience!!

It is becoming increasingly important to showcase stories about our local Canadian teams. Hearing of Orlondo's journey in football, inspired me to want to help make this documentary come to life with hopes of spreading his positivity and enthusiasm!

Fun Fact: I've never touched a football in my life other than when Cali threw one at me last year for tv class. I mean, I didn't catch it so technically I still haven't touched a football...

When I was asked to do this doc I was on board right away. I love sports and have done live baseball and hockey filming for years. I wanted to experience behind the scenes of football, and this was that chance. I watch NFL and CFL with my dad, and I've been to a few Tiger-Cats games, so this is a dream come true!

Fun Fact: I have a huge passion for social media creation, along with writing and anything creative. I love TikTok trends and trying to get everyone involved in skits and dances!

Composer

I wanted to be on this doc because I have a history of going to Tiger Cat games with my father and I was intrigued by the idea of doing a project revolving around them. As a musician I was excited by the idea of doing an 80s throwback type score that harkened back to the works of Bill Conti, Vangelis, Harold Faltermeyer, and early Hans Zimmer.
