SYNOPSISThis documentary follows the story of Sidney Alarcon, founder of La Raza Band in El Salvador, who journeys through the rise, sacrifice, love and resilience. During the early 90’s, Sidney Alarcon decided to create something unique and different that represented life, youth, and authenticity through a band that later became the voice of a generation.
But like the rise of his success, the rise of gang violence closed in on his family. Sidney was forced to make life-changing decisions to re-built their life in Canada in order to protect his family from violence and threats. Sidney Alarcon chose to leave everything behind – his career, his audience, the stage and his homeland to start anew in a new country. |
