LAURA DOCUMENTARY
An exploration into the joys and struggles of motherhood and how they've shaped a mother of three.
LAURA captures a portrait of a mother of three as she reflects
upon motherhood and what makes a good mother. Throughout her
journey,Laura has changed as a mother, and the documentary provides
a glimpse into the struggles faced by mothers everywhere - how to
connect with your children, how to remain strong for your children
in the face of adversity, and what to do when mothering becomes
too much. In the end, Laura arrives at the conclusion that a good mother
is one that is a constant presence for her children, one that is dedicated
to their progression as good little people who treat others well.

JIASHENG DI
BOOM OPERATOR As a Boom Operator, I am responsible for operating the microphone to record sound on set. Although my main stream of study is editing, I would like to try on-set positions to learn more about filmmaking. I was honored to participate in the filming of this project. The reason I wanted to participate in the project in the first place was because I saw that it was about the theme of “motherhood”. And I learned that the subject of the object is a mother of three children. This made me relate to myself, because I have a twin brother, and our mother also took care of us at the same time and raised us carefully. So after learning about the theme and content of the project, I decided to participate.
