The Team
I’m Aidan Zloty, AC for this documentary. Several of my family members work or have worked in hospitals, and have told me about their own burnout experiences, so I was happy to help share the difficult nature of their work with a wider audience.

Hi! I'm Carter Harris, the Supervising Sound Editor! As a firm believer in the importance of healthcare workers, I know that burnout can have a huge impact on their mental well-being. Because of this, I wanted to take part in this project to help raise awareness about the impact of burnout on healthcare workers.

Hello! I’m Boole Nguyen, the Picture Editor for Burning at Both Ends. I’ve always aware of the nursing situation but never knew the in-depth story of and how burnout affected to the healthcare workers’ mental health. This documentary has given me a new perspective on the nursing community so I wanted to be apart in spreading awareness and share their stories.

Hi, I’m Karolina Lewy, the assistant editor for Burning at Both Ends! I’m super excited to be a part of this wonderful production because it raises awareness on a topic that is dismissed and forgotten. Nurses have a tough job that can affect their mental health, and burnout is real, so hearing both Amelie’s and Sara’s insights on the topic has been super eye-opening.

I'm Nate, the composer for this documentary. Burnout is almost unavoidable in life—it gets busy, and the tasks seem endless. But by breaking things down, compartmentalizing, and remembering you're not alone, it becomes manageable. I joined this project because many of my aunts migrated abroad as nurses, sharing countless stories of their challenges. Composing for this documentary is my way of raising awareness about the realities of nursing and reminding others not to take these essential workers for granted.

Hi, Im Saga Smith, The Location Sound Recordist for Burning at Both Ends. Burnout is something I think most people have experienced and it is a feeling I can really connect to. While everyone experiences burnout in different ways I really connect with the topic of the doc. I wanted to be a part of this project because I think raising awareness about the struggles that healthcare workers face is something that is essential to helping them achieving better working conditions where they can feel truly appreciated and be given the space to recover from burnout.

Hello!I'm Xinyue Pei, the Trans Media for Burning At Both Ends. The reason why I want to participate in this project is because last year, my cousin became a nurse. She often shared with me her experiences of working in the hospital, and these stories gave me a deeper understanding and interest in the nursing industry. Therefore, I hope that by participating in this project, I can gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and achievements that nurses face in their daily work.
