In The Heat goes behind the scenes of one of the most popular restaurants in the Greater Toronto Area, Taps Public House. The crew spent an entire night in the kitchen of Taps, documenting the work life of the cooks in this high pressure environment. In The Heat has been screened at The Rush Youth Film Festival in St. Catherine's Ontario and was included in the programming for Movie Nights hosted by InSauga at Mississauga's Celebration Square.
In The Heat explores the reality of chefs and cooks as they struggle to create dishes and experiences we enjoy on a daily basis. The restaurant industry is a tough business, not just for profits, but for all of those involved. With the help of Taps Public House, In The Heat will display this cut throat industry in a way never before seen. |
