How We Are Remembered
A filmmaker seeks to discover if it is important to be remembered, by interviewing experienced artists who have had their time in the spotlight.
With underlying themes of recognition, fame and the importance of being remembered. The documentary will start focus on Sandy Horne and Jeff Carter. Sandy Horne is a Bass player for the famous Canadian band ‘The Spoons’, and Jeff Carter is a music Composer/Producer. This Documentary’s conflict arises as the audience and the director want to make their mark on the world; However, the experience and views of the interviewee’s goes against that, leading to the conclusion that the importance of being remembered is widely unimportant in the grand scheme of things. This project seeks to give insight to students, by showing them what people later on in life find important, and what they believe to be fruitless endeavors.
This documentary will be participatory. Liam Gabert (Director) would interview the subjects. Our hope is that this documentary can help pass on his advice to a larger audience. |
