Hello! I’m very proud to be the director of Chateau Chat. As someone who owns two rescue cats, pitching this documentary was more personal to me than I care to admit. My hope is to tell a story of resilience and redemption that transcends the important subject we are highlighting and resonates with a wide range of people. |
Xavier Liska/Producer
Hello there! It's been a pleasure to be the producer of this documentary! I will admit, my love for cats had been strained over the last couple of years (my ex had a cat, and that cat was a nuisance) but I have always had a soft spot for animals and feel guilty hearing about strays being put down. They deserve better. I am glad that I can be part of a story about the importance of love and resilience as well as shining light on an incredible no-kill shelter |
John-Michael Crljen/ Ass. Producer
Hi, It’s been nice being a part of this documentary. As someone who isn’t much of a cat lover, being a part of this documentary and learning about the shelter’s care and passion for cats made me like cats a little bit more. |
Matthew Geist/Director of Photography
Hi y’all! I am proud to be this documentary’s DOP. As someone who loves cats, it’s cool to be working on a doc that brings awareness to those that need all our love and support. My hope is to bring a flare to the visuals that will help to bring the message closer to audiences, and to bring audiences closer to all the wonderful cats. |
Thais Hull/Editor
Hello, editing this has been so fun with such an adorable production! I've been a crazy cat lady since a child and got the attitude to prove it! This story is just another look into the world of 'Adopt don't Shop', and these little munchkins are now part of the crew! |
Will Lewis/Sound Editor
Hey! I'm super stoked to be editing the sound on this documentary. It's nice to be working on something as lighthearted as this for a change. I only wish we could have made the film even longer because listening to the sound of cats meowing never gets old. |
Raj Brahmbhatt/Transmedia Producer
Hi! I am honoured to be working on Chateau Chat as the Transmedia Producer. So far, it has been a great learning experience, both filmmaking wise and for learning about cats. I previously lacked appreciation for them, however after hearing Donna's deeply insightful perspective about why she started her shelter, I understood why they are so popular. |
