COVID-19 has hit the people of Canada very hard, especially towards members of my family. These are their stories.

Director's Description

In March 2020, Canada went into lockdown because of the COVID-19 virus. Many people had to be laid off or were forced to work on the front lines. People had to isolate themselves from friends and family, resulting in difficult situations for people worldwide. Life in a Pandemic follows three members of my family as they tell their experiences of working through the COVID-19 pandemic while trying to cope with the death of their grandmother/mother. The story I want to tell is one that sheds new light on people who are trying to cope with the death of a love one during the pandemic. While I have been personally affected, I wanted to know how it has affected members of my family as well.

Meet The Subjects

Connor Scale

During the pandemic he was working at Tim Hortons dealing with customers getting possible exposure to the COVID-19 virus. In May his grandmother passed away and has managed to coupe but it is still difficult for him.

During the pandemic she took care of her parents during the pandemic. Her mother sadly passed away in May. Now she has focused her attention to taking care of her father.

During the pandemic he was trying to run his health and safety business to provide for his family. In May his mother passed away and his trying to find away to coupe and get some sort of closure.

Meet the Team

Director, Producer, and Writer. Liam has dedicated his life to making films. Liam has spent the last 3 years learning to major in Directing and Script Writing at Sheridan College.

Director of Photography. Jacob is currently a 3rd year film student at Sheridan College. He plans to graduate mastering the fields of camera and post-production.

1st AC, currently in Sheridan college, Carlos intends to pursue his passion in cinematography, editing and his love for filmmaking. ​

Giles is the editor of the film. When he isn't putting together movies, he is looking for many different means of putting together a story.
