TORONTO 2020
A poetic documentary about the mental health of Toronto and how living in the city can make you forget what is truly important to you.
Crew Biographies
Shane Roberts - Director, Producer
I love poetic documentaries because I believe in the power of stories that can be told purely through images. I think that the story we are trying to tell will resonate with people of all ages and backgrounds. |
Malcolm Judah - Director of Photography
I think that the topic revolving around Toronto, and city lifestyles as a whole, is something that a lot of people talk about, but not a lot of content is created around the topic. This entire project is a great way to expose both the positive and negative sides of living in a concrete jungle. |
Anthony Bersinic - Editor
I was intrigued when I first heard the concept because it reminded me of one of my favourite documentaries, Koyaanisqatsi. Being inspired by it before, I’ve played around with time lapses and found footage for fun, but never something quite like this… so without hesitation I pounced on the opportunity to edit this film, and here I am. |
Jamie Hilts - Transmedia
I saw Toronto 2020 as a way to think deeper about my lifestyle. I was born in a small town but moved into the city recently. How has my life changed? Toronto is full of great stories, and I'm excited to be able to share them across many different mediums. |
