Watch as a young business owner recalls childhood memories of escaping trauma as he attempts to walk 100kms in one night to raise money for the very organization that saved him as a child.
Imagine being woken up in the middle of the night and being told to pack your bags with everything you care about because you're never coming back to your home. This is what Bryan Smith experienced as an 8 year old boy. Packing his belongings into a garbage bag and walking kilometers with his mother and sibling to escape his mother's abusive relationship. Now, over 20 years later, Bryan has become the successful owner of his own personal training gym and wants to give back to the shelter that once saved his family. His goal is to walk 100kms to Toronto in an effort to raise $10 000 to donate to The Interval House of Hamilton.
