MEET THE TEAM
ALEX MORRISDirector & TransmediaHi, my name is Alex I am a third year Bachelor's of Film and Television student at Sheridan and director of this documentary. Listening to my moms story about when she worked at Amazon, I found so intriguing and quite shocking. I really wanted to share her story and give audiences an insight of what it is like to be an employee. Shopping has always been one of my favourite pass times. I used to only shop in person, but I have come to enjoy shopping online. Especially when you have shopped at the store in person and know your size. Online shopping is super convenient and when your order arrives, its the best feeling.

NINO LOVELLProducerHi, I'm Nino Lovell and I had the pleasure of producing this doc! I love shopping, fashion, trends, knick knacks, you name it! That being said, I used to do a lot of in person shopping - but about 2 years ago I switched to mostly online shopping. Online shopping is a hit or miss (always read the reviews!) and sometimes not the most ethical source of purchasing your goods. After being a part of this doc, I want to switch to a more sustainable way of shopping. I want to shop local, and from small business. This way, I can get something that is completely unique and that only I can have. Switching to this way can also help small businesses and you can consciously know where your money goes.

I try to not shop unless I need something, but when I do I usually go out to shop! Since the pandemic I’ve been shopping online. I try to support small local stores that have shops online before I resort to bigger online retailers! |
