Crew Members from Internalized
Ethan Butler Director, Producer and Writer I am a third year student at Sheridan College in BFTV with aspirations to work in writing, directing and sound. Since I was younger I have had a passion for art which lead to my interest in film. Bringing this project to life has been an important journey for me. By addressing issues of internalized homophobia and the subtleties of growing up gay I want to grab the attention to the people who raise Canadian youth, whether they are a parent, guardian, teacher or anyone else. It is important we connect to LGBTQ2S Youth to let their voices be heard.
Martin Restrepo Co-Writer I'm a BFTV student who majors in Directing, Cinematography and Sound. I wanted to help writing this project because this internal conflict that exists within the LGBTQ+ Community is hugely ignored and has affected many people’s mental health. I think seeing the value in these stories help everyone at exploring themselves and their lives.
Jordan Frauts Director of Photography I am a BFTV student at Sheridan with aspirations to work in cinematography.
Sky Kearley Sound Editor My name is Sky Kearley, I am nonbinary and transgender. I have faced struggles of coming out to people since highschool and have a strong passion towards making LGBTQ2S content to educate the people, and to make more content for the community. Working on this doc is part of my goal to help make films that will spread love to every person who has dealt with struggles of being out and proud, as well as in the closet and scared. I was that scared little gay before, but now I want to use my voice to change peoples minds, and help the young LGBTQ2S youth that needs the resources to connect to.
Reece Trumble Editor and Colourist Hi there! I'm Reece Trumble and I'm the editor for this documentary. When I'm not working on my computer I usually spend my time with my dog. I chose this documentary because I know many people that are close to me that have struggled with similar experiences.
