A Pandemic Between us is a documentary that explores the struggles of being in an old age home during this global pandemic, and what it does to the families of these individuals.
The story shows the struggles of keeping connected with loved ones throughout the pandemic and the effects that this has on individuals. The story is something many can relate. Whether we have been separated from friends or family, the pandemic hasn't been easy for any of us and especially those in old age homes. |

Hi, my name is Jacob Nosan, I’m the producer, editor, and co-writer of A Pandemic Between Us. My family and I have missed my Staramama (grandmother) a lot during this pandemic, and she’s missed us. I miss everything we used to do together, I miss getting together for dinners, I miss holding her hand, and I miss making her smile. I hope through sharing this experience of being separated, but still finding a way to be together, anyone who watches A Pandemic Between Us will know they’re not alone. We all miss someone or something because of this pandemic, I hope this film lets people know they are not alone, and we will get through this together.

Hi, my name is Andrew Morgan and I am the sound editor for A Pandemic Between Us. When Covid 19 hit Canada I and many Canadians missed out on a lot of things for the sake of love and protection. I have missed birthday parties, family gatherings and funerals. It’s not just the big things I miss, I miss the little moments with friends, the moments where you can look back and laugh at the stupid jokes you made. I miss the moments when you could experience life with others. The documentary shows us life as we all struggle with today and it offers us hope that we can once again get these moments back, I believe this is a powerful message and one I am proud to be part of. I hope it inspires you too.

Hello my name is Matthew Neves and I’m the director of A Pandemic Between Us. I enjoyed working on this story showing a much more personal aspect that most documentaries don’t showcase regarding the COVID 19 pandemic. What I miss the most during this pandemic is going to different places working. I always love to film at different places but unfortunately since the pandemic I haven’t been able to work as much as I want to. I hope you all enjoy this documentary for we all had a great time working on it while reflecting on our own personal lives.

Hello, my name is Carson Flemons and I'm the head of transmedia for A Pandemic Between Us. Since the pandemic started its been a very large struggle to stay connected with family and friends and especially my grandmother. I still haven't been able to visit her, which has been very sad. This film explores those struggles and why it is so difficult for individuals to stay connected especially given the situation. The story really resonated with me and I believe that a lot of the people who watch it, will be able to connect with the story of the film.
