A Mind Worth Watching

A documentary looking at the low number of psychiatrists in Ontario and its domino effect.
Picture
Synopsis
This documentary begins in the dark where we hear the voice of our producer, Matthew Ridgewell, and an operator. In this sequence we hear the difficulty he has trying to get a convenient set-up of a psychiatrist.
We begin to listen to Matthew’s background on how he has been effected by the shortage of psychiatrists. He is backed by an interview of Kanchan Kurichh, who is a counsellor of Sheridan College.
While we hear the experiences and opinions of Matthew and Kanchan, we look at alternatives that Matthew uses and others can partake in when being put on a waiting list to see a psychiatrist.
