Devil in the Details
A short documentary about a devout pastor battling the forces of evil through the modern practice of exorcism.
In 2014, the Vatican called for an increase in the number of trained exorcists to battle what they saw as an influx of demonic possessions. Pastor Via Mateo may not be trained by the Vatican, but as a priest for his ministry in Mississauga, he sees it as his duty to help in the battle against evil. In this documentary we will take an inside look at demonic possession, its effect on a devout man’s faith, and answer the question: what does an exorcism look like in 2016?
